What are you playing/working on right now?
Introducing the positions: Shifting
What do you do for a living?
I am a computer programmer for Microsoft
When did you start in SSS?
Late in 2020 What drew you to the violin and music theory?
I was attracted by the violin pieces in the anime when I was in middle school. And later I found learning violin is a good choice since violin is so lightweight and portable that it can be played almost anywhere. What is your favorite musical experience to date?
Sometimes when I am very focused on playing violin, I can forget everything but the notes on the music sheet. In what other activities do you participate?
I started to learn photography late last year. And shortly, I learned that $$$ equipment doesn't guarantee good photos : ) There's a lot of skills and knowledge to master. Any other tidbits about yourself that you want others to know?
I'm trying to explore different cultures in different companies at the current stage of my career. Many things do seem strange at first but actually there are good reasons behind them. New people, new team, new project all excite me. Hope my exploration goes well in the future!
Anishka's Bonus!
Back in February, Anishka G. received the amazing news that she passed the Royal Conservatory of Music Final Theory Exam "With Distinction." Well, recently she received this in the mail!
We could not be more proud of Anishka's accomplishment! Join us in congratulating her again on a job well done!
First student in Texas passes Sassmansshaus Book 1
We are pleased to announce that we have our first student in Texas that has passed the Sassmansshaus curriculum from book 1. Caleb A. only began in September, and has already completed book 1! He has been consistent and it shows. Hard work pays off!
Gala Recital!
We are excited to announce that our Annual Gala Recital will be held on Sunday May 15th at 4:00 pm at Sienna Ranch Baptist Church. The recital will feature selected performances both in person and over ZOOM, as well as an all studio performance of the well known Classical favorite, "The Blue Danube." The recital is open to all friends and family. Total performance time will be between 75-90 minutes.
Fanny and Felix's Follies
Well the Ying Yang Dogs are at it again. No this is not staged. They actually fell asleep like this! This picture was taken after an hour of running in the levee fields behind our home. Ahhhhhhhh, life is good if you're a Poodle!
