Mrs. Nozomi Khudyev

A native of Japan, Nozomi Khudyev has performed as a soloist, chamber 

musician and orchestral keyboardist at prestigious venues including 
Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln 
Center. An active collaborative pianist, she has appeared in concerts throughout Northern America, Europe, Central and East Asia.

Nozomi completed a bachelor of music degree in piano performance at the University of Michigan, where she was a recipient of the full-tuition merit scholarship, and a master of music degree in collaborative piano at The Juilliard School as the recipient of the Bernard and Leigh Seder, William Petschek Piano and Henrietta Quade Scholarships. 

In addition to Nozomi’s performance career, she has served as an Instructor of Piano and Collaborative Pianist at the Interlochen Arts Academy and worked as a staff pianist at The Colburn Conservatory. 

Currently she resides in Seattle area with her husband and daughters.

Mr. Grant Hanner

Grant Hanner is an active and avid musician in the greater Seattle area. In June 2017, he received of Bachelor's of Music in Viola from Seattle University, intensely exploring chamber and solo music. He originally studied violin with Dr. Quinton Morris and later switched to study viola with Dr. Amber Archibald-Sešek. He has also played piano for the past twelve years, studying under Tina Kouratachvili at Seattle University most recently. 

 

He has attended the Summit Music Festival, Tierra Chamber Music Intensive with Dr. Marcus Talley and Kent Music Seattle with the Manhattan String Quartet. 

 

June 2018 marks the third year he has been a section violist in Orchestra Seattle and hopes to continue with the ensemble next season. He plays regularly with fellow orchestra members in chamber concerts and gigs, in collaboration with Orchestra Seattle as well as the Seattle Chamber Music Society.
